Telegram has pushed a new update, where it allows users to import the chat history from WhatsApp or any other social app to telegram. Due to privacy update of WhatsApp, many of them have completely moved to the other alternative such as Telegram (TG) and Signal. Let us follow these simple steps to move the entire chat history of your friends or groups including media to the TG. Move chat history From WhatsApp to Telegram in Android devices
- Open any chat history of friend or group and click on three dots on the top right corner. Next click on “More” and then select “Export Chat”.
- Upon clicking on the export chat, you will get a pop up asking for to include media from the chat. Select an option as it is a personal preference. Again one more pop-up with share icon appears including telegram. Now click on “Telegram”.
- After clicking on the Telegram icon, the app opens with the option to create the group or you may select the existing group/friend. Select anything on your preference and click on the “Import”
- It takes some time to import based upon the size of data. complete chat history with media including Whatsapp sticker will be imported to telegram group/friend.
