As revealed by Jain in the tweet, one of the phones will come with a Snapdragon 888 SoC while the other will come with the new Snapdragon 870 SoC.
While Manu hasn’t revealed the names or other details about the handsets, info regarding the India launch of Mi11 has already been leaked. According to famous tipster Ishan Agarwal, Mi 11, Mi 11 Lite will come to India. However, he didn’t share any specs so far.
As for Mi 11, it is expected to be the same as the phone launched in China. The Mi 11 phone comes with the Snapdragon 888 SoC. In line with the phone’s premium nature, the device’s display can also refresh at 120Hz and supports 240Hz touch response rate. The panel can also reach a peak brightness of 1,500 nits. As per Camera it comes with a 108-megapixel main camera (f/1.85, 1/1.33 inch sensor size, 0.8-micron pixels, OIS) sat next to a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera (f/2.4, 123 degrees), and a 5-megapixel telephoto macro sensor (f/2.4). The Mi 11 also packs 8K recording and a night video mode for brighter low light video.
Xiaomi was also rumored to launch a Mi 10 model with Snapdragon 870 chipset. Since we are already in 2021 and the naming is old now, this model could carry the Mi 11 Lite moniker.
That said, these are just a wild guess from our side, and let’s wait for official news to confirm it in following weeks.
