AMD officially released a new generation of AMD Ryzen 5000U low-voltage series mobile processors during CES2021. The new series has 2 models based on the Zen 3 architecture and 3 models based on the Zen 2 architecture. The flagship model Ryzen 5800U has increased its single- and multi-core performance by 16% and 14% respectively. It also has the longest battery life.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800U and 5700U is built on a 7nm process with Zen 3 and Zen 2 architecture respectively. It has 8 Cores with 16 threads and a frequency ranging from 1.9-4.4 GHz and 1.8-4.3 GHz they feature a 20 MB and 13 MB L3 cache and a 15W TDP.

AMD Ryzen 5 5600U is built on a 7nm process with Zen 3 architecture. It has 6 Cores with 12 threads and a frequency range from 2.3-4.2 GHz. It also has 19 MB L3 and generates a 15W TDP.
AMD Ryzen 5 5500U is built on a 7nm process with Zen 2 architecture. It encapsulates 6 Cores with 12 threads and a frequency range from 2.1-4GHz with 11 MB L3 and generates a 15W TDP.
AMD Ryzen 3 5300U is built on a 7nm process with Zen 2 architecture. It has
4 cores and 8 threads and frequency ranging from 2.6-3.8GHz comprising 6MB L3 cache and generates a 15W TDP.

In addition to that AMD also released the new Ryzen 5000H series Standard pressure mobile processor. Unlike the U series, the H series adopts the latest Zen 3 architecture. Up to 8 cores and 16 threads, 45W TDP, eight models, and in addition to the H and HS suffixes, a new HX suffix that supports manual overclocking has been added.
All those AMD Ryzen 9 5980HX, Ryzen 9 5900HX, Ryzen 5900 HS and Ryzen 9 5980HS have been built in 7nm Zen 3 Architecture comprising 8 cores and 16 threads. These chips have a maximum clock speed of 4.8 GHz with 45+W TDP and a minimum of 3 GHz with 35W TDP. All these chips have a 20 MB L3 cache onboard.
AMD Ryzen 7 5800H and Ryzen 7 5800 HS have also been built upon a 7nm process with Zen 3 architecture comprising 8 cores and 16 threads. These come with a base speed of 2.8 GHz and a maximum speed of 4.4 GHz. As a mandatory, it boards 20 MB L3 cache and 45W TDP for 5800H, 35W TDP for 5800 HS
Last but not least AMD Ryzen 5 5600H and 5600HS have also been built upon a 7 nm process accompanied by Zen3 Architecture. Both these chips have 6 cores and 12 threads. The former comes with a frequency range of 3.3-4.2GHz, 19MB L3 cache, and 45W TDP and a frequency range from 3-4.2 GHz, 19MB L3 cache, and 35W TDP.
This Chipset directly competes with Intel’s 11th generation processors. More laptops with this Chipset can be seen in the future.
