New Acer Swift series, Aspire series, and Spin series laptops launched in India

As Windows 11 started rolling out this week, Acer has launched six new Windows 11-ready laptops in India. The new laptops include Swift X, Swift 3, Aspire 5, Aspire 3, Spin 3, and Spin 5. The laptops will also come with Office 2021 pre-loaded which provides new inking tools, data types, functions, translation and editing tools, motion graphics, and various other ease-of-use features.

Swift X, Swift 3, Aspire 5, Aspire 3, Spin 3, and Spin 5: Pricing and availability

The Swift X has been priced at Rs 86,999 and the Swift 3 series starts at Rs 62,999. The Aspire 5 and Aspire 3 models start at Rs 57,999 and Rs 55,999 respectively. The Spin 3 is available starting at Rs 74,999 and the Spin 5 will start at Rs 99,999. The laptops are now available for purchase on Acer’s e-store and also offline channels like Flipkart, Amazon, Croma, and Reliance Digital.

Swift X: Features and specs

The Swift X (SFX14-41G) features a 14-inch Full HD screen display with a peak brightness of 300 nits. It is powered by AMD Ryzen 5 5600U Hexa-core processor and comes with 4GB Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU and AMD Radeon™ Graphics. The Swift X also comes with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB SSD storage. It houses a 4-cell 59 Whr battery.

Swift 3: Features and specs

Acer has unveiled two models in the Swift 3 line – the SF314-511 model powered by Intel Core i5-11th Gen processors and the SF314-43 powered by an AMD Ryzen 5000U series processor coupled with 16 GB RAM.

Both models feature a 14-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and a maximum brightness of 300 nits. The laptops come with 16 hours of battery backup and fast charging support.

Aspire 5: Features and specs

The Aspire 5 sports a slim 17.95 mm and comes in both 14-inch and 15.6-inch Full-HD IPS panel variants. It is powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel processors and provides storage options of up to 1TB M.2 PCIe SSD and up to 2TB HDD. The laptop comes with dual-band Wi-Fi 61 (802.11ax) which the company claims reduces latency by up to 75 percent compared to Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac).

Aspire 3: Features and specs

Aspire 3 is powered by a 4.2 GHz Intel Core i5-1135G7 processor with an ergonomic hinge that pulls in additional airflow from underneath the laptop. It comes with hybrid storage using SSD and HDD configuration which provides fast boot-up and software performance while the HDD provides ample storage for large files.

Spin 3: Features and specs

The Spin 3 comes with a 13.3-inch display and a built-in Acer Active Stylus that features 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity for a realistic pen-on-paper feel while drawing and writing. It is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core Processor with Intel Iris XE graphics. The Spin 3 has a battery life of up to 15 hours and charges in just 30 minutes. The built-in charger recharges the stylus in just 15 seconds for 90 minutes.

Spin 5: Features and specs

Spin 5 is powered by an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with 1TB PCIe Gen 4 SSD and up to 16 GB LPDDR4X RAM. It sports a narrow border of the 3:2 ratio screen that gives 18 percent more screen real estate than its competitors. It also comes with an integrated electromagnetic resonance (EMR) stylus.
