You can’t always save random person number to your contacts. This is one of the much-needed features that WhatsApp still doesn’t have. Unlike Telegram, we don’t have the username concept in WhatsApp so this is a drawback.

To WhatsApp unsaved number, there are many third-party apps from which you can take help. We don’t recommend these to you because they may cause you unwanted privacy risks. Also, few WhatsApp modded apps can help you text unsaved WhatsApp numbers but there is a risk of getting banned from WhatsApp.

Here are the steps to send messages on Whatsapp to phone numbers without saving them to contacts

  1. Open your phone’s browser then type wa.me/xxxxxxxxxx,  in the address bar.
  2. In the place of ‘xxxxxxxxxx’, you’ll need to enter the phone number along with the country code
  3. If the number you want to message is +918888888888 then the link becomes wa.me/918888888888. Over here, the first two digits (91) is India’s country code followed by the mobile number of the person.
  4. Once you have typed the link, tap enter to open the link.
  5. Next, you’ll see a WhatsApp webpage with the recipient’s phone number and a green Continue to chat button. Tap the green Continue to Chat button and you’ll be redirected to WhatsApp.
  6. You will be taken to the WhatsApp app with a chat being open for the said contact.

This method works in any Android or ios device and desktop browsers too. We believe this method is convenient and time-saving. Let’s hope WhatsApp soon adds these features and makes our life easy. If you have any doubts let us know in the comments section.
