The much-awaited budget-friendly Poco M3 was launched in India on February 2, 2021. This phone targets the budget segment as it was launched at introductory pricing of Rs 10,999 for the 6GB+64GB variant and Rs. 11,999 for the 6GB+128GB Variant. It cannot be compared with its previous version, the Poco M2 because of its specifications. Its cannibalistic rivalry will be the Poco M2 Pro and Redmi note 9 Pro. Let us discuss how it compares with these mobiles.
Redmi Note 9 Pro is nothing but another incarnation of Poco M2 Pro with an 18W charger in the box rather than 33W in Poco M2 Pro’s box. Also, Poco M2 is from an entirely different Chipset manufacturer. So it’s unfair to compare it once again.
Poco M3 vs Poco M2 Pro : Specifications
The Poco M3 and the Poco M2 Pro feature 6.53-inch FHD+ and 6.67-inch FHD+ screens with Corning’s Gorilla Glass 3 and Gorilla Glass 5 on top respectively. Poco M2 Pro is slightly heavier than its rival even though it houses an inferior battery, say 5000 mAh compared to M3’s 6000 mAh battery. Both the models are available in a set of three different colours. Both have an LCD panel where the M2 Pro’s brightness excels by 50 nits (450 nits) and also comes with HDR Support.
