Amazfit’s New GTS 2e and GTR 2e Smartwatches To Launch In India In January 2021

Amazfit’s brand new smartwatches, the GTS 2e and GTR 2e, are coming to India in January. The two smartwatches were first announced in China last month. Huami said that more details about Amazfit GTR 2e and GTS 2e will be revealed soon on the official website – in.amazfit.com and e-commerce platforms Amazon India and Flipkart.

Amazfit GTS 2e

The Amazfit GTS 2e has a 1.65-inch AMOLED screen with a 341 ppi pixel density while the Amazfit GTR 2e has a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with a 326 ppi pixel density. Both have 2.5D scratch-resistant glass covering their screens, unlike their more expensive siblings that have a 3D glass covering. There is a whole lot of watch faces users can choose from and there is even the option to use your own pictures as a watch face. Huami also says that the displays can be rotated 180° to cater to both left-handed and right-handed users.

The two watches support up to 90 sports modes with auto-detection for six of them. There is also support for Blood-oxygen level measurement, sleep quality monitoring, stress detection, and all-day heart rate monitoring. There is GPS, an offline assistant, and customizable notification alerts. Users can also lock the screen with a password to prevent anyone from accessing the watch. The two smartwatches have a 5 ATM waterproof rating.

Amazfit GTR 2e

The battery life of Amazfit GTS 2e will last up to 14 days on a single charge while that of the Amazfit GTR 2e will last up to 24 days.

GTS 2e and GTR 2e

The GTS 2e comes in Lilac Purple, Moss Green, and Obsidian Black while the GTR 2e can be purchased in Obsidian Black, Matcha Green, and Slate Grey. Both watches have the same $139.99 price tag and can be purchased on the Amazfit US store starting today.
