The Chinese giant Xiaomi has seen incredible sales over this festive season. Not only Xiaomi another Chinese tech like Realme had also witnessed a recovery growth in this Q3 when compared to the first half of the pandemic year 2020. However, this Chinese virus has impacted the business of the whole world.
Xiaomi has witnessed recorded total quarterly revenue of 72.2 billion with a YoY growth of 34.5 percent. And a net profit of 4.1 billion with a YoY growth of 18.9 percent. Xiaomi corporation has become the fastest-growing overseas market with a recorded growth of 52.1 percent. Around 46.6 million units of Xiaomi smartphones shipped across the world. Total 289 million units have connected with Xiaomi’s IoT platform. Xiaomi has been ranked NO.1 in TV shipments in mainland China.
The overall smartphone market declined by 5.7 percent year-on-year when compared with 2019 as per Gartner. The report also says that total smartphone shipments have come down to 360 million units, nonetheless, it is recovering from the first half of this pandemic year. The report revealed that Samsung still leads the market followed by Huawei, but Apple was overtaken by Xiaomi for the third spot.
