As budget phones take up the lead, there’s been a sudden surge of budget phone launches in the past few months. Most of the budget mid-range phones sometimes perform better than flagships. Redmi is known for its budget lineup from the regular and A series. Last year Redmi launched its Redmi 9 smartphone under 10,000 with Mediatek Helio G35 SoC. Fortunately the next upcoming phone, Redmi 10 specifications were accidentally published on the Mi.com site.
Redmi 10 leaked specifications
The post mentioned some of its specs and one can expect a huge update from its predecessor the Redmi 9. The upcoming Redmi 10 will dominate the sub 10000 price range. Images, Specifications, and other major details have been purposely released by a blog post on Xiaomi’s global Mi.com website. Since it’s been a year since Redmi 9 launch, one can expect the same too.

Redmi 10 Camera array
The phone, from the leaked images, will have a punch-hole camera at the front and a quad-camera setup at the rear. The design mostly follows up with the existing note series. XDA developers have mentioned the launch of Redmi 10 will be in this month and later the blog was removed.
Surprisingly the cameras take a huge bump here. The primary camera will be a 50MP sensor, 8MP ultrawide, 2 MP depth, and 2MP macro sensor. For selfies, an 8MP shooter is expected
Redmi 10 body
As far as the body panel will be polycarbonate and from the leaked images it is confirmed that the Redmi 10 will be offered in 4 colors (Grey, white, black and blue). It will be housing an LCD Full HD+ 6.5 inch (90hz expected) display. The phone will be powered by a 5000 maH battery as expected. Android 11 with Miui 12.5 will be out of the box.
Redmi 10 Storage and Miscellaneous features
The Redmi 10 is powered by a Mediatek Helio G88 SoC. The post revealed that the upcoming phone will be in 3 variants : 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB, and 6GB + 128GB. The addition of a 128 GB variant is an added advantage. 18w fast charging is expected to arrive with a dedicated charger in the box. Xiaomi has also mentioned that the phone will feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
For charging a USB type C slot and for media a headphone jack is present. A dedicated SD card slot and dual stereo speakers are expected to arrive in this phone as per the leaks
The Redmi 10 will surpass everything in its way and we are expecting its launch shortly.
