According to the firm, devices running Android 2.3.7 or lower will no longer be able to access Gmail, YouTube, or Maps after September 27, 2021. You might notice a username or password error if you sign in to your old devices.

Google has taken these precautions to safeguard its users. If customers’ smartphones are running Android 2.3.7 or lower, Google recommends that they upgrade to Android 3.0 or higher so that they can continue to utilise Google apps and services without interruption.

Gmail, Google Maps, and YouTube will no longer work on Sony Xperia Advance, Sony Xperia Go, Sony Xperia P, Sony Xperia S, Lenovo K800, Vodafone Smart II, Samsung Galaxy S2, and LG Spectrum after Google stopped supporting them. Support for the LG Prada 3.0, HTC Velocity, HTC Evo 4G, Motorola Fire, and Motorola XT532 has also been discontinued.
