The new AMD Ryzen 9 series processor spotted testing with ASUS ROG Zephyrus appeared in Geekbench. The new powerful processor from AMD Ryzen 9 5900HX coming soon to the market with boosted performance. According to the Geekbench, the new Ryzen 9 5900HX processor has been implemented in an ASUS ROG Zephyrus GX551QS – a 15.6-inch gaming laptop.

According to the Geekbench result, the new Ryzen 9 5900HX has eight cores and also supports the Simultaneous Multithreading feature. It has a base clock of 3.3 GHz and additionally, the boosted performance has a clock of 4.59 GHz during the benchmark. If these leaks are true then the Ryzen 9 5900HX has 300 MHz higher base and boost clocks than its previous Ryzen 9 4900HS.
The new 5900HX also has 16 MB of L3 cache which is double the volume of the previous processor. Geekbench confirms that the Ryzen 9 5900HX belongs to the Cezanne chip. This Chipset may have overclocking capabilities too.
However, The Ryzen 9 5900HX obtained good scores in Geekbench. Its single-core has scored 1,423 points and the multi-core has scored 6,912 points is underwhelming.
