The massive Google Pixel 6 leak confirms most of the specifications

The Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro are the company’s upcoming flagships. Everyone is excited about Google finally bumping up the hardware in all the right ways. The Pixel line as a whole has prioritised the experience over just hardware, so everyone is excited about Google finally bumping up the hardware in all the right ways. While Google will formally debut the devices on October 19th, a large new leak has confirmed almost everything we’ve said so far, as well as providing additional details on the impending flagship duo.

As observed by @evleaks, UK-based shop Carphone Warehouse has unintentionally leaked full marketing brochures for the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro.

The phone is supposed to have a Magic Eraser feature, which has now been proven. Photobombers and undesired objects can be removed from images with Magic Eraser. The face deblurring feature is also noted, now dubbed “Face Unblur” by the company. The new Pixels will also be able to capture genuine skin tones across the spectrum for better portraits. “Learn what’s new with the Pixel Camera, Google Apps, and more” is also mentioned in one of the photos – the choice of words is notable, as it specifically specifies “Pixel Camera” rather than “Google Apps.”

The phones will also include a 50MP primary back camera with an undisclosed Samsung sensor.

According to the tiny print on these sites, Google is finally improving charging speeds, which are now capped at 30W wired for both devices. Wireless charging speeds for the Pixel 6 and Pro are capped at 21W and 23W, respectively, however, the Qi-certified Google Pixel Stand 2nd generation allows for faster charging.

You’ll have to buy a charger if you want either of these rapid charging speeds, as Google isn’t including one in the package. The new 30W USB-C adaptor, as well as the Google Pixel Stand 2nd generation, will be available separately. You can also invest money in an authentic translucent case.

Other details highlighted on both pages include the use of Gorilla Glass Victus and the IP68 rating on both devices. Surprisingly, only the Pixel 6 Pro is said to have an LTPO display with a 10Hz – 120Hz variable refresh rate. Another Pixel 6 Pro exclusive is Face Unlock, which is currently missing from the Pixel 6’s Pixel Security app’s security-related graphics. It’s worth noting that the front cameras on both cellphones are different.

Other software features that have been discussed appear to be shared by both devices. Live Translate, Live Space widgets with a flight card and running activity, and more are all mentioned. Google also promises “at least 5 years of upgrades,” though it is unclear if this refers to platform updates just or platform updates with security fixes. Because Google has complete control over its own Google Tensor engine, this lengthier update cycle is conceivable.

Furthermore, the Bose 700 is being provided as a pre-order bonus, which gives weight to the Pixel 6’s rumoured starting price of €649.

In the upcoming days, more details are expected to be revealed
