POCO India is gearing up for the launch of a new C-series smartphone in India. The company will launch the C31 in India later this month. POCO’s latest teaser post confirms the launch date of the device along with some key features of the device. The POCO C31 launch in India is confirmed for September 30. We can expect the device to go on sale during the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale. The teaser video does not confirm the key specs of the device. It does reveal the front panel’s design. Let’s take a look at the POCO C31 launch date in India, features, and other details.

POCO C31 India launch

POCO will launch the C31 in India on September 30. Ahead of the launch, the teaser video confirms the device’s key design details. The POCO C31 will have a water-drop notch display. The video teaser further suggests that the phone will have thin bezels around the display, except for the chin bezel, which is comparatively thicker.

We do not know the display size of the device. The phone is expected to be an incremental upgrade over the current POCO C3. It therefore could come with the same 6.53-inch screen that has an HD+ resolution. Considering the phone is likely to be priced under Rs 10,000, we might not see it get any support for a high refresh rate panel.

Other details of the device remain unknown at the moment. POCO is expected to announce the C31’s key specs and features as we get closer to the launch date. It could come with a 5,000 mAh battery or even a 6000 mAh cell for that matter. It is also likely to sport a triple-camera setup on the back. There could be an improved performance unit under the hood. The C3 comes with a MediaTek Helio G35 SoC. We might see the C31 feature a G85 SoC under the hood. However, the use of the G85 chipset could also mean a significant price bump.
