Samsung launches the ‘Smart Touch Call’ tool to help customers with complaints save time.
Samsung India has unveiled the ‘Smart Touch Call’ function to help customers save time while calling the company’s Customer Care service, according to a press release.
Consumers would be able to manage their professional and personal duties from home, rather than waiting in line, according to the corporation. Customers will be able to use this new function while calling Samsung Customer Care; instead of a traditional call centre experience, they will be able to use a synced speech and screen interface.
Samsung also hopes that by launching this new digital service, it would be able to respond quickly to the majority of customer inquiries, minimising contact time. Consumers seeking answers to questions such as where to find the nearest service facility, repair tracking, software upgrades, warranty statistics, and so on will benefit from this new digital service. This new ‘Smart Touch Call’ function offers a simple customer experience with quick resolution and an interactive interface for customers who have complaints.
Instead of a standard call centre experience, customers contacting Samsung Customer Care will have the option to switch to a synchronised speech and screen interface. Smart Touch Call is a user-friendly service experience that recognises the demands of the caller and allows them to interact with the system.
Customers will be able to find answers to most of their common questions using this digital self-service option, including finding the nearest service centre to them, repair tracking, software updates, spare part pricing, warranty information, in-home service reservation, appointment booking, order status, product registration, and a variety of Do It Yourself product troubleshoots.
While on the phone with Samsung Customer Care (1800-5-7267864), customers who select Smart Touch Call will receive an SMS or a pop-up menu. Customers can choose between self-help and their preferred communication style, such as email assistance, WhatsApp support, chat support, or voice support. For a speedier resolution, callers can fill out a form with their facts and problems before being connected with customer support professional.
Customers can expect a shorter call wait time and a faster call transfer time using Smart Touch Call, as a result of incorrect menu selections.
To assist customers in resolving product servicing issues without having to leave their homes. Samsung recently added a new pick-up and drop service for smartphone and tablet devices to its contactless service offerings in the country. Customers who visit Samsung service centres can request a drop-only service, which will have their mobile devices delivered to their homes once they have been repaired. The pick-up and drop-off service is now available in 46 cities and can be requested by calling Samsung customer support at 180057267864 on Whatsapp.
Customers who want their smartphones and tablets fixed at any of Samsung’s service centres can schedule appointments online at www.samsung-appointment.com, or through the Samsung MyGalaxy App and the Samsung Members App, for the desired day, time, and location.
Samsung also provides a variety of digital service solutions to its consumers, allowing them to fix problems without leaving their homes. Customers can use WhatsApp, Remote Support, Live Chat, or contact centre technical support, or they can watch do-it-yourself videos on the Samsung website and YouTube.
Apart from the hygiene measures taken at the entry points, such as temperature checks and hand sanitization, service counters have been provided with sneeze guards, and queue management has been implemented, allowing only a limited number of clients in at a time.
