Global VP of Xiaomi Manu Kumar Jain has just revealed the launch of Redmi 9 Power on December 17, 2020, under the Redmi lineup. Even the Redmi India official Twitter has also revealed the launch of Redmi 9 Power. In the previous quarter, Redmi Note 9 series has been the best seller. Recently Android 11 was rolled out for Redmi Note 9 series. Anyhow the MIUI 12 has not been customized for user-friendly, still many users are reporting bugs, random reboots, etc in many of the Redmi and Poco devices.

As per leaked specifications of Redmi 9 Power seems to be the same as the Chinese variant Redmi Note 9 4G which was recently launched in China. Also read, Redmi Note 9 4G and Redmi Note 9 5G launched in China.
Redmi 9 Power may be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 chipset with Adreno 610 GPU. It may come with a stunning 6.53-inch FHD+ IPS LCD waterdrop notch display and a massive 6,000mAh battery.
The Redmi 9 Power could have an 8MP shooter on the front for selfies and video chats and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for security. The handset is also rumored to support an 18W fast charging with a USB Type-C port. It may house a 48 MP quad-camera setup with a dedicated 8MP ultrawide lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. However, the official specs will be revealed on December 17 at 12 noon.
