The Realme GT Neo 2 will be the first device to be released with Android 12 and Realme UI 3.0.
The Realme GT Neo 2 will be available in India soon. On its social media accounts, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer previewed the introduction of the GT Neo 2. Realme has also created a microsite dedicated to the upcoming GT series device.
While Realme’s teasers do not reveal the device’s actual name, there are strong indications that the handset in question will be the Neo GT 2, which was unveiled in China last month.
Realme GT Neo 2 specifications
The Realme GT Neo 2 is slated to launch in India’s sub 30,000 price range, where it will compete with handsets like the Xiaomi Mi 11X and iQOO 7. The Snapdragon 870 SoC will power the device. It will also have a 120Hz Samsung E4 AMOLED panel with a 600Hz continuous touch sampling rate, the highest in India.
The smartphone is expected to be available in storage combinations of 8GB + 128GB and 12GB + 256GB. In comparison, the Realme GT Neo 2 model, which was launched in China, also has an 8GB + 256GB storage capacity, but it is unclear whether this will be available for India.
If the Indian version of the Realme GT Neo 2 has the same specifications as the Chinese version, the smartphone will include a triple rear camera configuration with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. It could have a 5,000mAh battery and support for 65W SuperDart Charging.
Realme UI 3.0
In addition to this, the Realme UI 3.0 will appear first on the Realme GT 5G, followed by the recently announced Realme GT Neo2, which will ship with it out of the box. We’re referring to the European and Indian models, as the Chinese model has already been released with Realme UI 2.0.
The third major iteration of Realme’s unique platform is expected to include numerous design modifications to icons, wallpapers, and layouts, as well as new media output and navigation functions
Furthermore, Realme’s redesigned User Interface will increase “functionality, fluency, customizability, security, and privacy concerns that youthful users have.” The tweet from the corporation was mentioned. The entire user interface will be more advanced than the previous Operating System. UI 2.0 stands for User Interface 2.0. Realme UI has already attracted over 100 million users around the world.
Realme claims to be one of the first to receive Google’s latest operating system update. The Realme GT 5G will be the first smartphone to get the Realme UI 3.0 update, while the future GT Neo 2 will come pre-installed with Android 12. It’s worth noting that this only applies to the Realme GT Neo 2 in India and Europe.
