Surpassing 2021, smartphone manufacturer Realme has a large user base in Europe and Asia. Realme is known for its quick innovative products to compete in this fast-moving world. One of its flagship-grade affordable smartphones was Realme GT 5G which was unveiled in March.
The well-built phone finally arrived on August 18 in India. The phone was launched along with Realme GT Master Edition with a slight cost-effective bundle. Realme GT is the cheapest Snapdragon 888 phone in India right now.

Realme GT 5G : Display and Body
The display is a 6.43-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,400 pixels) Super AMOLED with a 20:9 aspect ratio and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also boasts a touch sampling rate of 360Hz and a peak brightness of 1,000 nits and houses an optical under-display fingerprint sensor. It weighs 186g and composes a Glass front, glass back or eco leatherback, plastic frame. It is available in three colours. One of the striking colours is yellow, which is slightly different from the other because it boasts a Vegan leather panel with a straight black strip that runs from the camera array.
Realme GT 5G : Processor and Storage
The Qualcomm Snapdragon (Octa-core (1×2.84 GHz Kryo 680 & 3×2.42 GHz Kryo 680 & 4×1.80 GHz Kryo 680) 888 SoC is included within the phone, coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. The integrated storage can also be used to practically expand the RAM by up to 7GB. The phone runs on Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0. Probably Realme GT is the cheapest phone with Snapdragon 888 Processor. This phone is a boon for mobile gamers.
Realme GT 5G : Camera
Realme GT has a triple back camera configuration for images and Videos. It comes with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX682 primary sensor and an f/1.8 lens, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide shooter. A 2-megapixel macro lens is also included in the camera configuration. The Realme GT also has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.5 lens. There’s also Super Night Mode, Panoramic View, Expert, Timelapse, Bokeh, HDR modes.
The back camera can shoot 4K/30fps 60fps, 1080P/30fps 60 fps, 720P/30fps, 60fps Modes. On the front, a maximum of 1080P at 30fps can be shot
Battery and Miscellaneous
Realme GT packs a 4,500mAh battery that supports 65W SuperDart Charge fast charging, provided the 65W Charger in the box. It has a headphone jack along with a dual stereo speaker setup. A transparent case, A protective film are also provided in the box

Pricing and availability
The Realme GT 5G is sold in Dashing Silver, Dashing Blue, and Racing Yellow and starts from INR 37,999 for the 8 GB variant and INR 41,999 for the 12GB variant. Flipkart has offers that can trim down the prices further to INR 7,000-INR 12,000 through its Smart Upgrade program. Realme GT will be available for purchase in the country starting August 25, while Realme GT Master Edition sale for the 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants will begin August 26.
