Chinese smartphone manufacturer, realme is the fastest growing brand in the world. Recently it became the fastest brand to sell 50 million smartphones in just 2years. Today in an online event realme Europe announced its realme 7 5G smartphone. Currently, realme 7 5G is one of the most affordable 5G device available in Europe.
The realme 7 5G is powered by Mediatek’s Dimensity 800U 5G SoC and Mali G-57 GPU. The device is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Battery
realme 7 5G supports dual 5G connectivity. As we have seen from the earlier 5G devices, 5G is battery hungry. To power up realme added a 5000mAh battery with 30W fast charging support. realme claims its 30W dart charge can charge from 0-100% in just 65 minutes. Which is a good thing. The device also supports OTG reverse charging, you can use it to charge your AIoT anywhere, anytime.
On the front, realme 7 5G features a 6.5 inch FHD+ LCD display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate and a touch sampling rate of 180Hz. The screen to body ratio is 90.5%.
Camera
For selfies, it has a punch hole 16MP camera. Which can be used for face unlocking.
On the back, realme 7 5G has a quad-camera setup. The 48MP primary camera with f/1.8 aperture. For ultrawide shots, the device has an 8MP sensor with a 119-degree field of view and f/2.3 aperture. And there are two 2MP sensors, one for monochrome and the other for macro shots. For steady video, it has an Ultra Image Stabilization(UIS) which uses the ultrawide camera to make the video steady.
Other than that, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor for fast and secure unlocking. The device supports Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res audio. The device runs Realme UI on top of Android 10.
Price and availability
The Realme 7 5G has only Mist Blue color option and only 6/128GB variant. The retail price of the device is €279 but there is a €50 discount offer for a limited Black Friday sale from November 27-30. In this sale time, the device price will go down to €229.
