With the new avatar, a seven-seater SUV of TATA Motors is all set to launch as TATA Safari 2021. The official name of the upcoming seven-seater SUV was recently unveiled by Tata Motors, and its launch in India was also confirmed later this month with a tagline indicating the classic “Sharpened for Sophistication”

Gaadify has published a leaked picture at the brand’s manufacturing facility showing the final production-ready variant of upcoming & seater SUV aka Safari 2021. Apart from these leaks, there is clear evidence that the SUV houses an Arrow shaped grill touch at the front along with Headlamps accompanied by LED DRL’s. In addition to that it resembles a wider Harrier but with a 63mm longer and 80mm taller body.
Even the interior resembles as that of Harrier with an expectation of 8-inch touch screen infotainment system along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, JBL enhanced audio system, drive modes, climate control, and steering-mounted controls. In terms of safety measures six airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking camera, and traction control are expected.
Powering the beast will be a 2.0 l diesel unit that maxes out 170ps of power and a torque of 370 Nm coupled with 6-speed manual gearbox. A rugged SUV with an optional 4WD system was the previous Safari, but the Harrier, on which the current Safari is based, only gets front-wheel drive.
The upcoming safari is expected around a price segment of 12-13 lakhs which should be the best competitor for the MG and KIA Lineups.
