Good news for PC gamers in India. Epic Games allows Indian users to buy their favourite video games in Indian Rupees. No more worries on INR to Dollars conversions and Indian Bank fees for international transactions. Epic Games had a plan of local currency support in the year 2021 but enabled ahead of schedule. However, it depends on the developers.
A great move by epic games on local currency support. Still many of the game stores like Ubisoft don’t support INR. On Epic Games Store, the Indian rupee joins a whole host of supported currencies, including USD (US Dollar), CAD (Canadian Dollar), AUD (Australian Dollar), GBP (Great British Pound), EUR (Euro), PLN (Polish Zloty), RUB (Russian Ruble), KRW (South Korean Won), JPY (Japanese Yen), TRY (Turkish Lira), UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia), BRL (Brazilian Real), SEK (Swedish Krona), DKK (Danish Krone), NOK (Norwegian Krone), MXN (Mexican Peso), PEN (Peruvian Sol), CZK (Czech Koruna), ILS (Israeli Shekel), CHF (Swiss Franc), and HUF (Hungarian Forint).
