New Realme Buds Q2s With 88ms Low Latency Launched

Realme has introduced the Realme Buds Q2s at the Realme GT Neo 3 launch event in India. The Realme Buds Q2s were launched in March 2022 in China and have now finally reached the Indian shores after a month. These TWS earphones pack in AI-ENC, touch-based controls, Bluetooth v5.2, Dolby Atmos, Quick Play, and many more features.

Realme Buds Q2s: Features, Specifications

The Realme Buds Q2s are identical in design to the previously launched Realme Buds Q2. They are in-ear types and come with a non-stem design. The company says the case comes with a transparent lid, which makes it look like a futuristic spacecraft.

The Realme Buds Q2s wireless earphones sport 10mm dynamic drivers which boast of a PEEK + TPU polymer composite diaphragm. This, along with its Bass Boost+ feature, promises to deliver a punchy bass. They come with Bluetooth v5.2 for a reliable connection up to 10 meters. The earphones support AAC and SBC audio codecs. You can’t expect an ANC feature at this price point, but Realme has packed in an AI-powered ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation) feature, which coupled with the snug fit earbuds should reduce some ambient noises.

The Realme Buds Q2s are touted to come with a super low latency mode of 88ms, which would be beneficial for gamers. The earbuds get Dolby Atmos support for an immersive sound experience. These earbuds would be perfect for fitness freaks as it comes with an IPX4 splash rating, which protects them from sweat and splashes. The Realme Link app allows you to pair instantly and tweak its audio settings, enable game mode, and enhance its volume, among others.

The earphones come with a 40mAh battery for each earbud and a 480mAh battery for the case, which offers a combined battery backup of up to 30 hours. They come with a USB Type-C port for charging and a 10-minute charge can provide about three hours of playtime. However, they might take seven hours to charge fully.

Realme Buds Q2s: Price, Availability

The Realme Q2s truly wireless earphones are priced at ₹1,999 in India. They will go on sale from May 2, 2022, and will be available for purchase via realme.com, Flipkart, and Amazon. They come in Paper White, Paper Green, and Interstellar Black colors.
