To become a destination for online shoppers, Facebook is launching new tools for companies to engage with potential customers on its app. Businesses will be able to send emails to customers using Facebook Business Suite, staff will be able to maintain business pages without logging in with their accounts, and business profiles on Instagram will get a WhatsApp button.

Different businesses will now be able to add a button to their Instagram page that would redirect clients to their Whatsapp pages, allowing for easier communication. Furthermore, social media managers and executives will be able to handle company pages without first logging into their accounts.

In India, WhatsApp integration for enterprises is a crucial business strategy. In terms of Whatsapp payments, the country also leads the way. Brazil, for example, is a significant market for Facebook-owned Whatsapp, which recently tested a feature that allowed users to find local businesses via an in-app directory.

According to Karandeep Anand, Vice President of Business Products at Facebook, the platform’s new capabilities would help it give more personalised purchasing experiences to its users.
