Lava has unveiled its latest smartphone, the Agni 2, in India today. This new device boasts impressive features, including the recently announced MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset, a stunning 120Hz AMOLED display, and fast charging capabilities of up to 66W.
The Lava Agni 2 showcases a sleek 6.78-inch curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, delivering a smooth user experience with its 120Hz refresh rate. The panel supports 10-bit colors and achieves a peak brightness of 950 nits. Additionally, it incorporates a punch-hole cutout housing a 16MP front-facing camera, accompanied by an in-display fingerprint scanner for added security.

On the rear, you’ll find a 50MP main camera with a 1.0µm pixel size sensor, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide module and a pair of 2MP sensors to enhance photography versatility. Running on Android 13 with Lava’s Agni Shapath interface on top, the Agni 2 promises a seamless and intuitive user interface. Lava is committed to providing at least two Android version updates and quarterly security updates for a span of three years.
Powering the Agni 2 is a robust 4,700mAh battery, which can be rapidly charged using the 66W wired fast charging technology. This ensures that you spend less time tethered to a power source and more time enjoying your device.
The Lava Agni 2 is available in a vibrant green color variant and comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Notably, it proudly bears the “Made in India” tag. The pricing for the Agni 2 starts at INR 19,999 ($243), and it will be available for open sales in India starting May 24 at 10 AM exclusively on Amazon India.
