New boAt Vertex smartwatch with SpO2 tracker launched

With the launch of its next-generation boAt Vertex smartwatch in India, Boat has expanded its smartwatch lineup. The new device has a huge 1.69-inch HD screen and a battery life of up to 10 days, according to the manufacturer. The smartwatch is also waterproof, with an IP67 rating.

The Boat Vertex has a 1.69-inch HD capacitive square display with a high-response touch interface, according to the company. The smartwatch comes with a variety of health sensors. A heart-rate sensor that works 24 hours a day, seven days a week and a SpO2 tracking sensor are among them. A built-in sleep tracker allows you to keep track of your sleeping patterns. The sleep monitor keeps track of your sleep stages, such as light, deep, and waking.

On the smartwatch, there is also a guided breathing option. According to the manufacturer, the function can assist with lower heart rate and stress levels. Users can get personalised exercise plans based on their current BMI and activity levels with the Boat Crest app.

Boat Vertex has eight different sporting modes built-in. Walking, running, cycling, skipping, badminton, basketball, and football are examples of these activities. The smartwatch can also track daily calories burned, steps taken, and distances travelled. It has over 100 watch faces and claimed to have a battery life of up to 10 days on a single charge.

The Vertex is also IP67-certified and resistant to sweat, splashes, and dust.

The Boat Vertex is available at a special introductory price of Rs 2,499. It will be available on both the company’s official website and Flipkart. The smartwatch will be available in four colour options: Deep Blue, Active Black, Raging Red, and Cool Grey.
