A new Motorola device aka Motorola Edge S has been leaked and finally appeared a few days before. As of then, it was expected to come up with a Snapdragon 865+ or 888 chip.
Unfortunately, Digital Chat Station’s Weibo has claimed it to be a new chipset. We suspect that it will be a newer chipset from the Snapdragon 800 series.

This chipset was codenamed “Shima” which is supposed to be built on a 5nm process and with a Cortex A78 with a spec frequency of 2.78 GHz.
As expected, it will be featuring an Adreno 660 GPU, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 Storage.
With that being said Motorola China has revealed a new poster indicating a new mobile with an unannounced chipset.

Since they stress on Edge display, the refresh rate will be on a higher side and can be one of the brightest displays. Apart from that, it boasts a better camera array, say 64 MP on board, 8K recording, and a massive battery. Being Motorola it comes with guaranteed software updates and Android 11 will be pre-installed.
More details will be revealed soon after the official confirmation. Initially, this device’s availability will be limited to China and later to other countries.
