MediaTek, being the world’s 4th largest global fabless semiconductor company and powering more than 1.5 billion devices a year has announced its flagship successor Dimensity 1000+. The exclusive Mediatek’s official Weibo has published an invite, indicating a new product in the Dimensity lineup.

As far as the hype and leaks concerned this will be the Dimensity 1000+ SoC. It comprises of a high-end SoC with an integrated 5G modem. Powering this chip will be four ARM Cortex-A77 cores clocked max at 2.6 GHz and four Cortex-A55 cores that max up to 2 GHz. The later focuses on more power efficiency.
Since this chip is expected to be built in 6nm process it should be more efficient in power saving as well as enhanced 5G connection. Along with this, it may comprise a WiFi 5 modem along with LPDDR4X controller.
