Jio 5G service will be available in India in the second half of 2021, disclosed by Reliance Industries Chairman and Managing Director Mukesh Ambani revealed during his keynote at India Mobile Congress 2020 on Tuesday.

The Indian billionaire mentioned that the 5G service will be proof of the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat (self-reliant India) policy. Apart from launching the Jio 5G service in India, they are also planned for affordable android smartphones with collaboration with Google. The new Jio android smartphones may debut in the coming months.
Mukesh Ambani also said that Jio will be a pioneer in the 5G revolution in India in the second half of 2021. Also, said that Jio 5G will be powered by the indigenous-developed network, hardware, and technology components.
