The disappear feature for photos and videos enhances the sender’s privacy, which doesn’t allow the receiver to share your photos or videos anonymously. This feature enables the receiver to see the photos or videos only once, after that it gets deleted automatically to avoid the copy of the content.

Let me have a clear glance at how to enable the “disappearing message” feature for group and individual chat for someone who doesn’t know about it.
Enabling “Disappearing Message” feature for Groups and Individual chats
- Goto Whatsapp and click on any group or individual personal chat
- Click on the profile
- Scroll down to see the “Disappearing Message” feature
- Click on it, a popup will trigger saying that the chat history will be deleted after 7 days
- Click “On” to enable it, that’s it.
- Now the chats will be deleted after 7 days for the group or chat you have selected.
Enabling the “Disappearing Photos and Videos” feature for Groups and Individual chats
- Goto WhatsApp application
- Click on any groups or personal chat
- Click on the “📎” attachment symbol
- Add any photos or videos you wish to send
- After adding click on the “1” symbol at the bottom right corner
- A pop-up will shoot saying “Photo set to view once“, which means the photo will be automatically deleted after viewing it once.
