How to enable WhatsApp’s Disappearing Messages feature

WhatsApp‘s disappearing messages feature lets the user delete messages after seven days. This feature can be turned on for individual as well as group chats. If you want to save a message before it disappears, you can either take a screenshot or copy-paste it.

This feature was available for beta users, now it is available for everyone. You just need to update WhatsApp to the latest version from Google Play Store. This new feature is now available across all platforms including Android, iOS, desktop, KaiOS, and web. WhatsApp had also rolled out WhatsApp Pay, Always Mute, and enhanced storage tool.

Steps to enable WhatsApp Disappearing Messages

Before starting the below steps, please ensure that you have updated WhatsApp to the latest version.

Step 1: Click on the WhatsApp icon from your home screen.

Step 2: Move on Any group or friends from the list.

Step 3: Move on to contact info of person or group. Now you can see the Disappearing messages option, click on that.

Step 4: Now you can choose the option you need. Enabling this feature will disappear chats after seven days.
