The Amazon Echo Show 15 smart speaker comes with a 15.6-inch Full HD display and is powered by Amazon’s latest AZ2 Neural Edge processor. It features a redesigned home screen and comes with customisable Alexa widgets.

It comes with the new visual ID feature for the device to recognise and display content for a particular user, and also the ability to control other compatible smart home devices. It also supports 1080p Full HD content from Prime Video, Netflix, Hulu, and soon, from SLING TV as well. There’s support for a number of privacy features as well such as microphone and camera controls, the ability to view and delete your voice recordings and a built-in shutter to cover the camera.

Amazon’s Echo Show 15 smart speaker features a 15.6-inch Full HD display and Amazon’s newest AZ2 Neural Edge engine. It has a new home screen with Alexa widgets that may be customized.

Halo fitness device

The Halo View fitness tracker, Halo Fitness service, and Halo Nutrition service have all been added to Amazon’s Halo portfolio.

The Halo View fitness tracker has an AMOLED colour display, a SpO2 sensor, a heart rate monitor, a skin temperature monitor, an accelerometer, and the ability to track activity and workouts. It also allows users to track their sleep, is waterproof, and has seven-day battery life. It comes in three colours: Active Black, Sage Green, and Lavender Dream, and can be fully charged in under 30 minutes.

Halo Fitness is a programme that gives users access to hundreds of exclusive, studio-quality exercises conducted by well-known instructors like Michael Hildebrand, Elena Cheung, Elizabeth Andrews, and other industry leaders for all fitness levels. People can use Halo Nutrition to obtain customised, time-saving tools to find delicious, nutrient-rich meals or plan out a week of healthy eating. Halo View and Halo Band users can access both of these services through the Halo app.

The Halo View will set you back $79.99. (around Rs 5,900).

Amazon Glow

Amazon Glow is a new interactive device for kids that allows them to connect with their loved ones via video calls while participating in activities together. The device’s eight-inch display allows kids to read, play games, and do other entertaining activities, while others can use the Glow app to do the same. It costs $249.99 (about Rs 18,000) and includes a mat, a mat case, a year of Amazon Kids+, as well as Tangram Bits.

Hey Disney

Separately, Amazon and Disney announced ‘Hey, Disney!,’ a new voice assistant that will work with Alexa at home and in Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms.

‘Hey, Disney!’ is set to debut next year and will allow fans and guests to interact with a variety of Disney characters. Users will be able to access engaging Disney storytelling experiences and entertainment through the voice assistant.

As part of a planned integration with Amazon’s Alexa for Hospitality service, it will be offered in Walt Disney World Resort hotel rooms.

The new Blink video doorbell has a two-year battery life, 1080p HD day and night video, and two-way audio, among other features. It has Alexa support, can survive any weather, and can be controlled via the Blink Home Monitor app, among other things. The cost is $49.99. (around Rs 3,700).

Amazon Astro Robot

Astro, Amazon’s first household robot, is powered by Alexa, Amazon’s smart home technology. The Amazon Astro looks a lot like LG’s CLOi robot. Astro, a household robot, can roam around and monitor the house on its own. Artificial intelligence (AI), computer vision, sensors, voice, and edge computing are all included. To connect with people, it uses digital eyeballs on a revolving screen, body motions, and emotive tones.

A 10.1-inch HD touchscreen display with HD quality is included (1,280 x 800 pixels). For video calls, the panel has a 5MP camera. A 1080p periscope camera with a 132-degree field of view is also included. A 2.1-channel audio system with two 55mm front-firing speakers and a passive subwoofer is also included. Two Qualcomm QCS605 IoT chips, one Qualcomm SDA660 CPU, and one Amazon AZ1 Neural Edge processor power the Amazon Astro.

Dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth with A2DP profile support are included in the connectivity package. A lithium-ion battery powers the Amazon Astro, which can be recharged via a USB Type-C connector. The Astro can be customised with various load-outs, such as a cargo bin and a cup holder, depending on the task.

The Amazon Astro costs $1,450 in the United States. It will, however, be available for $1,000 as part of the Day 1 Edition programme. A six-month trial of the Ring Protect Pro membership will be included in the pricing.
