China has banned U.S. travel firm TripAdvisor Inc from app stores in the country and also banned 104 other apps for violating the cyber laws of the country.
China is known for its strict rules on cyber law of the country. Irrespective of the domestic or foreign app, China strictly regulates its cyberspace, and punishments for violations.

The Cyberspace Administration of China has found that these apps have violated the cyber laws without providing any details for each app. China has considered it as extent content related to pornography, prostitution, gambling, and violence. The TripAdvisor Head office in Beijing not yet replied to the Cyberspace Administration of China on this action.
The officials said that they have started the cleansing campaign on Nov. 5 in response to a strong reaction from the general public to content considered offensive. It said it would continue to regulate apps and remove those in violation of the law promptly.
