The Bengaluru-based startup is also expected to offer the next scooter for roughly Rs. 1 lakh, which is comparable to ordinary 125cc petrol-powered automated scooters. Ather now sells two versions in India: the 450 Plus for Rs 1,13,000 and the 450X for Rs 1,32,000 (both ex-showroom), making them among the most costly scooters available.

Ravneet Phokela, Ather’s Chief Business Officer, confirmed in a recent interview that a third product based on the Ather 450 platform is already in development and will be available in the first quarter of FY2023.

Moreover, the design or mechanism details have not been revealed by the company yet. Ather Energy did, however, file a patent for a new scooter design, which may or may not be the one that is released.

What’s more, Mr Phokela expressed, if higher specs implied more prominent deals, the TVS NTorq would prevail upon the Honda Activa, yet the marketing projections paint an alternate picture.

He proceeded to say that buyers get tied up with a brand’s more extensive idea and a big motivator for it, which stretches out past its particulars.

Model determinations are fundamental since they build up a key limit however it is concerning how complete specs fit together, that they are so pertinent to clients, the experience they get, the ride quality, etc.

Henceforth, rather than zeroing in on bringing down the costs of its current things, the brand is zeroing in on offering new items at more serious rates.
