Being a sub-brand, a unique brand the name Poco and model Poco F1 turned everyone back in the smartphone industry. Xiaomi‘s Poco flipped the smartphone industry when it launched the Poco F1 powered by Snapdragon 845 with all flagship features at just $290 in 2018. Till now this Smartphone is a good value for money champion.
But the company never had a word about its successor but rather launched premium devices like Poco F2 Pro globally with an Individual branding and few inferior models like the newly launched Poco M3. As per the official confirmations and fewer breakdowns we can feel the positive vibes of Poco F2’s presence.

Poco F2 Existence
Few days before Poco showcased their tech journey by tweeting a short teaser video that flashes the ‘Poco F2’ name multiple times after few seconds in that clip. But Poco never gave a word on this upcoming device nor any teasers.
Previous leaks almost confirmed that the upcoming device will be powered by a mid-range Snapdragon 732G processor which is inferior compared to its predecessor. As usual one can expect a quad-camera array with a whopping 4500+ mAh battery. In the meantime, Poco also confirmed the Poco X3 Pro that cleared certifications like IMDA, EEC, and TÜV Rheinland with model number M2102J20SG. In recent days Anuj revealed that the F-Series won’t be powered with the Snapdragon 732G.
Poco F2 Chipset
The hot topic in the town is again the Poco F2 and its almost confirmed by Xiaomi, that the phone will be powered by a flagship Snapdragon 870 chipset with a lesser price tag like the Poco F1. Xiaomi already confirmed its flagship devices with Snapdragon 888 5G and Snapdragon 870 5G SoCs in India very soon. Since Poco is rebranding a lot of Redmi phones, we can see the Snapdragon 870-powered Redmi phone too launching under Poco brand in India. But to our surprise Poco team also cleared that the upcoming device won’t be a rebranded one.

In the final leak, the upcoming Poco devices were codenamed as VAYU and BHIMA. BHIMA aka Poco X3 Pro will launch globally and for Indian Markets, we get the Poco F2 as VAYU. Even the codename carries a desi Indian style, their first launch and announcement are also expected in India.
The upcoming Poco device (F series probably) will house a Snapdragon 860 chipset. Most likely it will have a 4G modem instead of 5G exclusively for Indian markets. A quad-camera setup and an AMOLED display are mandatory since it denotes it is the successor of Poco F1.
Powering the phone will be a 5160 mAh battery and with fast charging support. For the global variant, NFC support will be embedded. The display will have a high refresh rate say 90-120 Hz. The phone will have a killer pricing range of 25000 and below. If all those leaked specifications matches, this phone will be a deal-breaker in 2021 and its existence will be engraved in the smartphone industry.
